Who We Are

Did you know that 1 in 5 Vermonters are affected by mental health challenges at some point in their lives? The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Vermont (NAMI Vermont) is a grassroots volunteer organization providing support, education, and advocacy FREE of charge so that all communities, families, and individuals affected by mental illness or mental health challenges can build better lives.

At NAMI Vermont, we believe that mental wellness is achievable. We share our lived experiences to develop understanding, empathy, and compassion for one another. We practice acceptance, empowerment, honesty, self-care, and inclusion. Above all, we believe that there is always hope.
