What is Provider?

Provider is a completely FREE in-service training program offered as either a comprehensive 15-hour course or a 4-hour seminar.
This program is designed for staff at public mental health agencies and other organizations working directly with individuals who have mental health conditions.
Teachers share their personal experiences within the structure of a scripted curriculum.
Who Can Be a Teacher?
Provider is taught by a 3-person team:

One Peer (individual living with a mental health condition)
One family member of a Peer
One mental health professional, who is also either a Peer or a family member of a Peer

Get all the materials and support you need from the NAMI Vermont office.
FREE two-day training provided by NAMI Vermont.
Commit to team-teaching at least two Provider programs per year for 3 years.
