Help your local faith community become more welcoming! Approximately 70% of Americans connect with a faith community each month. This means faith communities can be a wonderful source of support, friendship, and spirituality for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. NAMI FaithNet is a presentation for congregations of all faith traditions who wish to build their understanding of mental health.
What's the Opportunity?
-
You will provide an overview of mental health warning signs, address common misconceptions, and help congregants learn where they can turn for help locally.

Share mental health facts and life-saving resources in a respectful and judgment-free way.
You will help create a safer world for everyone by teaching faith communities about mental health! More people will be able to recognize warning signs and get effective help.
