Vermont 4-H is seeking evaluators to give meaningful feedback to youth at our public speaking and presentation contest called 4-H State Day. 4-H State Day is on Saturday, May 6th this year at the Vermont Granite Museum, 7 Jones Brothers Way, Barre, VT. 4-H State Day is a contest where youth from across Vermont present public speaking and static exhibits on a variety of topics. We have a rubric for each category and walk evaluators through how to evaluate and provide feedback on exhibits. Evaluators typically arrive for a brief orientation at 9:30am and can leave after they are done evaluating (around noon), unless they would like to stay for awards which happen around 1:00pm. Please email Allison.smith.2@uvm.edu or call at 802-651-8343 x509 with your interest.
