Mission: To empower youth to reach their full potential through hands-on learning experiences that promote leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
UVM Extension strives to educate individuals and families, strengthen communities & support agriculture and a healthy environment. 4-H youth and family programs support development of healthy choices and build the skills needed to thrive in career and life.
University of Vermont Extension 4-H provides a variety of services, including youth development programs, hands-on workshops, after-school programs, and summer camps. They offer leadership training, STEM education opportunities, and environmental stewardship programs, in addition to agricultural and culinary skills development. UVM Extension 4-H also organizes community service projects, mentoring opportunities, and exhibits for youth to showcase their skills. Through these services, they aim to provide youth with the tools they need for personal growth, academic success, and community involvement.
