If so, Vermont Adult Learning would love to hear from you! We are looking for a Reading Lab Assistant to work with emerging readers. The Reading Lab Assistant will supervise students using Lexia Lab, an online reading platform, to improve their literacy skills. The Reading Lab Assistant will work under the supervision of our lead reading instructor and will have the following skills and qualifications: Strong desire to help adults meet their literacy goals Ability to work in a lab setting of students with varying needs Strong communication and problem solving skills Proficiency with computers and ability to do minor technology troubleshooting Prior teaching or tutoring experience a plus Educational background in reading or language arts instruction a plus
