Vermont Adult Learning
Mission: To offer personalized education that empowers adults to achieve greater success in their lives and communities.
Vermont Adult Learning (VAL) is a nonprofit organization that provides educational opportunities to adults throughout Vermont, with a focus on creating inclusive, innovative, and equitable learning environments. VAL addresses the specific needs of adults who may have encountered obstacles in their traditional educational paths. This includes providing services to individuals who may have left school early, are non-native English speakers, or are facing personal challenges that hinder their ability to continue their education.
Vermont Adult Learning offers a range of programs designed to support adult learners, including high school completion, GED preparation, English language learning, workforce development, and college readiness. The organization provides personalized support to help individuals overcome educational barriers, gain employment, and improve their quality of life. Additionally, VAL offers online learning opportunities, financial literacy workshops, and community engagement initiatives to support lifelong learning and personal growth.
