Description

We often hear from individuals living with mental health conditions, but it’s important to recognize that these conditions can create a ripple effect, impacting their families and loved ones. The voices of family members are frequently overlooked. NAMI Vermont wants to emphasize the importance and power you hold by encouraging you to share your stories. Join us and raise your voice!

What's the Opportunity?

  • Your presentations empower others as you share your story as a family member.

  • Use your lived experience to raise awareness, break down stigma, and help others see that there is always hope.

  • Family Voices presentations are often hosted by public spaces such as libraries or membership-based organizations. You and another presenter will share your stories, featuring coping strategies that work for you and what your hopes and dreams are for the future. Each presentation is approximately 60 minutes long and always ends on a note of hope!
