Trinity Educational Center, Inc. (TEC) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and a Vermont-registered Domestic Non-profit Corporation. Trinity Educational Center, Inc. (TEC) provides a safe, inclusive, educational, and empowering environment for youth and young adults in the community. TEC supports underserved and underrepresented youth and young adults (ages 12-22) by helping them build on their strengths and talents, grow personally, and contribute positively to the community.

Awareness & Prevention: Strengthening Minds, Protecting Lives

The 'Trinity Prevention' initiative shows our commitment to tackling alcohol and drug abuse, preventing suicide, and raising mental health awareness. We aim to increase awareness about suicide prevention by hosting engaging events that support marginalized youth.

The Trinity Educational Center, Inc. (TEC) program "I AM SOMEBODY" is an ongoing effort to support marginalized youth and young adults. TEC revised its prevention strategy after noticing a rise in suicide rates a few months ago, based on data from the Vermont Department of Health's Suicide Surveillance Dashboard. Additionally, TEC is deeply concerned after speaking with the South Burlington AD, who recently attended the funeral of one of our students who took their own life.

Furthermore, there has been a notable rise in the number of students trying electronic vapor products. TEC emphasizes empowering young people by providing them with the knowledge to make informed choices and decisions about their health and well-being.
