Have you always dreamed of the life of a crossing guard? Do you thrive on pulling order from chaos and providing people with a sense of guidance and safety? Do you have strong positive feelings regarding fluorescent orange safety vests and traffic-direction batons? If so, we need your help directing parking at our second annual Kaleidoscope social on Friday, May 3rd! We are searching for 2 volunteers to partner for the duration of the event to keep parking organized and traffic flowing smoothly as people come and go.
Responsibilities:
- Directing incoming traffic and parking at Isham Family Farm in Williston from 5:30-6:30 pm.
- Rotate parking lot duty between you and your shift partner from 6:30-8:30pm.
- Directing outgoing traffic from 8:30-9:30 pm.
Schedule:
- Arrive at the venue at 5:30 pm on Friday, May 3rd.
- The event begins at 6:00pm, so you will have a half-hour to get situated.
- From 6:30-8:30, you and your fellow parking volunteer will rotate being on parking lot duty for stragglers.
- Parking volunteers get free admission and a comped drink ticket for the evening!
- Head out around 8:30 to direct folks as they leave the event.
- Wrap up by 9:30 and head home with our sincere gratitude!
