The holiday season is quickly approaching and Dismas House is looking for volunteer cooks to cook and join us for Thanksgiving dinner. The highlight of the day at Dismas house is when volunteers from the community join folks from Dismas house for a meal. As important as the contribution of food is, even more significant are the relationships that are forged when residents, staff and community members come together over a meal especially during the holidays. We are looking for 3 – 4 volunteers who will each bring a part of the holiday meal and enjoy it with the Dismas community or a group who would like to bring the meal.
