Starling Collaborative (https://www.starlingcollaborative.org/) is a non-profit organization focused on restorative practices, mindfulness, equity, social emotional learning, and trauma-informed approaches. Starling Collaborative works with schools, organizations, and innovative thought partners to build communities of care, dignity, and accountability where ALL members can thrive.
We are seeking a volunteer with prior experience to help us with strategic planning. Work can be done remotely at your convenience. We offer a very flexible volunteer schedule that works around your availability.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning regarding future funding and contracts with schools, including:
- Thinking with us about ideas for how to diversify our income
- Evaluating our fee structure and advising on rates while planning for a decrease in school funding
- Thinking about a staffing plan that will meet the requests for work we have that exceed our current capacity
- Working collaboratively with us to take action on the implementation of the plan
