Hi Everybody!
Currently, we are looking for (a) volunteer(s) to cook or provide a Thanksgiving meal for the residents of Dismas House on East Allen St in Winooski for Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 25, 2021
It is completely possible to cook on site, or to bring pre-prepared dinner items. Cooking on site, the residents who would be in attendance would be more than happy to lend a hand. This is a great way to experience how Dismas seeks to reconcile the former prisoner with society and society with the former prisoner.
We would be looking to dine at ca. 1:00 pm and then relax and enjoy each others company after.
