Your support is needed in putting the Family Room's community gardens to bed for the winter. Working along side staff and families, Garden Work Day volunteers will tidy individual plots, clean and organize tools and supplies in the shed, clear and prepare beds for tilling and repair broken structures.
Community gardening increases a family's self-sufficiency and access to healthy foods and exposure to nature and outdoor spaces for our community's highest risk populations. The Family Room is hard at work building community and supporting Burlington's families and young children from all walks of life. Please consider supporting the Family Room by attending this event.
