The Burlington Farmers Market is looking for volunteers to help us make the market happen! We offer a variety of shifts throughout the day, where volunteers can help us set up infrastructure for the market, count visitors, assist vendors, take on odd jobs, or help us pack up at the end of the day. General Information:
- We welcome volunteers of all ages, but anyone under the age of 18 will be required to have their parent or legal guardian to sign a Volunteer Consent and Liability Release Form.
- We offer shifts of one or two hours in length, but you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift per market day. If you need to sign up for a different time than what is on the signup form, please select the closest slot and then email us!
- Bring comfortable shoes and clothing for all weather — our market is outdoors and there is limited shelter available from sun, rain, hot, and cold. Be prepared! Feel free to bring any snacks or drinks you need to be comfortable.
- If you would like to earn City Market member worker hours for your time, please make sure you have completed the City Market volunteer orientation. CM will not count your hours if you haven't!
