Camp Exclamation Point, Inc.

Mission: To provide a life-changing camp experience for children and teens who have experienced the death of a close family member.

Camp Exclamation Point, Inc. (CAMP!) is a Vermont-based non-profit organization that provides a week of residential summer camp for over 100 underserved rural Vermont children. CAMP! was founded in 1991, after the University Affiliated Program at UVM re-prioritized services and discontinued a Vermont Migrant Education Program summer camp.

Camp Exclamation Point offers a variety of services, including week-long camp sessions that provide outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises. The camp ensures that medical staff are on-site to manage the health needs of each participant. Additionally, the camp offers year-round programs, such as family retreats and community events, to support continued engagement and provide ongoing resources for children and families facing chronic medical conditions. Through these programs, Camp Exclamation Point helps children build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging while managing their health.
