Heineberg Community Senior Center

Mission: To promote healthy aging by providing an opportunity for socialization and productive use of leisure time, to create an environment where individual differences and needs are recognized and to develop quality programs and services which will contribute to the meeting of those needs, and to serve as a bridge to other services for those 50 years and older.
The Heineberg Community Senior Center, established in 1971, is an independent, non-profit with over 500 participants. Our mission is to promote social, physical, and emotional wellbeing to all community members 50+. We offer programs, events, meals, and activities for participants to learn new skills and feel empowered to take a proactive role in their quality of life.

The Center is recognized in the community as a vibrant and valuable resource for adults. We welcome and celebrate diverse cultures, and honor our many differences within our population. The Center is completely handicapped accessible. We provide a variety of programs and services to adults 50 years of age and older. We serve as an informational resource to our community. Many of our programs are free of charge.
