American Red Cross of Northern New England

Who We Are

Mission: To prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

The American Red Cross of Northern New England serves all residents throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont with a population of more than 3.2 million people. Our region covers 40 counties and 49,083 square miles. More than 1,500 dedicated volunteers deliver our humanitarian mission with the support of a small group of employees.

What We Do

We help communities in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. We are able to make a difference in our communities because of the generosity of our donors and the power of our volunteers. Together, we made an impact through our programs and services.

The American Red Cross of Northern New England provides disaster relief services, including shelter, food, and emotional support to those affected by natural disasters or emergencies. They offer health and safety training, such as CPR and first aid courses, and blood donation drives to maintain a stable blood supply. The organization also supports military families with emergency communication services and provides international humanitarian aid. In addition, they assist communities with disaster preparedness education and help families recover from home fires and other crises.
