Each year, CPSF provides over 500 local families with financial support for them to meet their basic needs and remove barriers to treatment. CPSF’s Emergency Fund helps Vermont patients with the costs of food, housing, utilities, childcare, transportation, prescriptions, and medical costs not covered by insurance. We are still working on the details, but they could take the form of house parties throughout the state, advocacy events at the State House or virtual alumni reunions. These projects can be done remotely and requires a minimum time commitment of 2 hours a week. Volunteers will need a personal computer and access to the Internet. We are also looking for volunteers to come to GIV’s office in Winooski before an event to help coordinate event materials.
