Now celebrating over 40 years of helping Vermont's young people turn their curiosity into a career, GIV wants to reach out to the more than 12,000 alumni who attended over the past four decades so they can join in! Alumni Outreach: We are looking for a few volunteers who can research online those alumni that we have lost touch with over the years. Someone who is a savvy "Googler" and enjoys going down a rabbit hole or two. This project can be done remotely and requires a minimum time commitment of 2 to 4 hours a week, a personal computer and access to the internet. Volunteer: Event OrganizersEvent Organizers: We are looking for volunteers to help with the coordination of various events throughout the year to help GIV reach even more young Vermonters. Events can vary, but they can take the form of house parties throughout the state, advocacy events at the State House, or virtual and in-person alumni reunions. Coordination can be done remotely and requires a minimum time commitment of 2 hours a week. Volunteers will need a personal computer and access to the Internet. We are also looking for volunteers to come to GIV’s office in Winooski before an event to help coordinate event materials.
