Do you enjoy talking with people and working behind the scenes? Join a fun and devoted team of staff and volunteers and play an important role in helping to make homesharing matches! HomeShare Vermont is seeking a volunteer to make phone calls from our office to take personal reference information for our applicants. This is an integral part of HomeShare Vermont’s screening process, learning more about the character of applicants to ensure safety, security, and compatibility in homesharing matches. This is a great way to support both affordable housing and aging in place, and to give back to your community in a meaningful way.
Strict confidentiality and basic computer skills are needed. Approximately 2 hours/week, with very flexible scheduling based on your needs. Our office is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
