Build with us!
Habitat homes are built by incoming partner families and community volunteers. Everyone is welcome, skilled or unskilled. Our build sites are judgment-free learning zones — come ask questions, gain new skills and make new friends! Our construction supervisor will teach you what you need to know and provide you with all the necessary tools, safety equipment, and training.
New to volunteering? Here’s what to expect.
- Volunteers must be 18+ and sign a waiver before participating.
- Closed-toed shoes are required.
- We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or even ruined.
- Plan to bring sunscreen on hot days, extra layers on cooler ones, and a rain jacket.
- Please bring a bag lunch (except for Team Build and Women Build participants) and enough water for the day. We also suggest coffee or Gatorade if you need it.
- All tools, training, and safety equipment are provided.
- Cancellations happen. Please be sure the e-mail address you provide is accurate and accessible. We reach out via e-mail if we need to cancel.
