Who We Are
The Franklin Grand Isle Bookmobile is a traveling library that promotes a lifelong love of learning, and works to build community connections by providing greater access to information, books, activities, and fun. Our mission is to provide books and stories for everyone; for stronger hearts and braver minds.
What We Do
The bookmobile has been working hard to get back on the road this year! Since March, we have delivered over 1000 free books with activities to local youth. We have also been posting weekly story times and activities on our Facebook page and website. Soon, we will be doing regular book drops at local childcare centers and more interactive events via Zoom.
