Hunger Free Vermont

Mission: To ensure that no one in Vermont has to worry about where their next meal will come from, advocating for dignified and stable access to food for everyone.

Hunger Free Vermont (formerly Vermont Campaign to End Childhood Hunger) strives to end the injustice of hunger and malnutrition for all Vermonters. To do this we develop programs and advocate policies that prevent hunger and promote good nutrition for Vermont’s families.

Our efforts to fight hunger include but are not limited to programs such as: The School Meal Expansion Program, Summer Food Service Program, and 3SquaresVT Outreach and Education Program. Hands on volunteer opportunities exist statewide for the Learning Kitchen cooking and nutrition education program. Occasionally, opportunities become available to become involved with our other programs, special events or projects in our South Burlington office.
