Who We Are
Mission: To collect, preserve, and share the history of Chittenden County to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the region’s heritage.
The Chittenden County Historical Society (CCHS), established in 1965, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history of Chittenden County, Vermont. Founded by local residents with a shared interest in the area’s history, CCHS serves as a vital resource for historical research, education, and community engagement.
