Who We Are

Mission: To enable athletes to play adaptive sports including sailing, sled hockey, power soccer and more.

The Northeast Disabled Athletic Association (NDAA) is a Vermont-based nonprofit organization committed to providing recreational and competitive athletic opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities. Their mission is to support disabled athletes in their pursuit of excellence by offering a variety of adaptive sports programs.

What We Do

Key Programs and Services:

  • Adaptive Sports: NDAA enables athletes to participate in various adaptive sports, including sailing, sled hockey, power soccer, and more.
  • Competitive Teams: The organization sponsors competitive teams such as the Vermont Sled Cats (sled hockey) and the Vermont Chargers (power soccer).
  • Paralympic Support: NDAA has proudly sponsored members of Team USA at the Paralympic Games, including athletes Alicia Dana and Stephen Lawler.
  • Diverse Activities: The association organizes programs in activities such as archery, biathlon, bocce, cross-country skiing, handcycling, kayaking, power soccer, sailing, sled hockey, tennis, water skiing, and wheelchair basketball.
